When performance and endurance are key concerns, the High Performance castor is world class. A large opposed taper roller bearing in the swivel head means the castor can be power towed at speeds up to 12kph over flat surfaces without obstructions. The steel passivated zinc plated frame is robot welded and a fully sealed greasable swivel head make this castor easy to maintain. Richmond’s High Performance Series is custom designed and manufactured in-house to specification.
The S1650B by Richmond is a swivel frame castor and is fitted with a solid pneumatic wheel. This swivel castor is part of our high performance series range and can hold loads up to 950kg. The S1650B uses ball bearings for wheel rotation. The swivel frame of this castor allows the load to be steered. The outside diameter of the solid pneumatic wheel is 400mm, the wheel width is 100mm and you can order separately (Part Number: SN1612).
