When performance and endurance are key concerns, the High Performance castor is world class. A large opposed taper roller bearing in the swivel head means the castor can be power towed at speeds up to 12kph over flat surfaces without obstructions. The steel passivated zinc plated frame is robot welded and a fully sealed greasable swivel head make this castor easy to maintain. Richmond’s High Performance Series is custom designed and manufactured in-house to specification.

The S1017PU manufactured by Richmond is a swivel frame castor and features a polyurethane tyred cast iron wheel. This swivel castor is part of our high performance series range and has a maximum capacity of 1300kg. The S1017PU wheel is fitted with ball bearings. This castors swivel frame allows the load to be steered. The diameter of the polyurethane tyred cast iron wheel is 250mm, the wheel width is 75mm and you can order separately (Part Number: PU1076).
