When performance and endurance are key concerns, the High Performance castor is world class. A large opposed taper roller bearing in the swivel head means the castor can be power towed at speeds up to 12kph over flat surfaces without obstructions. The steel passivated zinc plated frame is robot welded and a fully sealed greasable swivel head make this castor easy to maintain. Richmond’s High Performance Series is custom designed and manufactured in-house to specification.

The S897B by Richmond is a swivel frame castor and has a polyurethane tyred cast iron wheel. This swivel castor is part of our high performance series range and can hold loads up to 1300kg. The S897B wheel is fitted with ball bearings. The swivel frame design of this castor permits the load to be steered. The polyurethane tyred cast iron wheel diameter is 200mm, the wheel width is 75mm and can be ordered separately (PU896). For the same castor without a brake, see S897.
